Welcome to MYSHOWBIZ.ai. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. What MYSHOWBIZ Is

MYSHOWBIZ is an AI-powered career management platform for performing artists, entertainers, and touring professionals. It is a tool to help you organize your career — it is not a booking agency, legal service, accounting firm, or financial advisor. MYSHOWBIZ does not book shows, negotiate contracts, or provide legal or financial advice on your behalf.

2. Your Account

You must be 18 or older to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@myshowbiz.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Subscription and Billing

MYSHOWBIZ offers a monthly subscription. Founding Membership is closed to new members. Members who already hold Founding status keep their Founding pricing for the life of their account as long as their subscription remains active. Billing is handled through Stripe. Subscription payments are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation stops renewal at the end of your current paid billing period, and access continues through that period.

Eligible new artists automatically receive a 14-calendar-day PRO trial at signup. No card is required. There is no automatic paid conversion or charge when the trial ends; a paid subscription requires a separate purchase.

4. Your Content

You own all data, contracts, and content you upload or enter into MYSHOWBIZ. By using the platform, you grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We will not use your content to train AI models or share it with third parties, except as required to deliver the platform (e.g., cloud storage providers).

5. Intellectual Property

MYSHOWBIZ.ai and all of its contents — including but not limited to the application code, design, user interface, features, AI models, workflows, data structures, branding, and written content — are the exclusive intellectual property of MYSHOWBIZ.ai and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use MYSHOWBIZ solely for your own personal career management purposes. This license does not include any right to:

Copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the platform or its code
Create competing or derivative products based on MYSHOWBIZ
Clone, fork, or replicate the platform's features, design, or workflows
Use MYSHOWBIZ as a reference or template to build a competing service
Extract, download, or compile any data, user content, or platform data at scale

Any unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

Scraping or data harvesting: Using automated scripts, bots, crawlers, spiders, or any other means to extract, collect, or download content, data, or information from MYSHOWBIZ without express written permission
Reverse engineering: Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code, algorithms, or underlying logic of the platform
Cloning the service: Reproducing MYSHOWBIZ's features, design, user experience, or business model for a competing or commercial purpose
Automated abuse: Making excessive automated requests, running stress tests, or otherwise placing unreasonable load on our infrastructure
Credential abuse: Sharing account credentials, creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits, or accessing the platform through unauthorized means
Circumventing security: Unauthorized or harmful probing, scanning, or vulnerability testing of any MYSHOWBIZ system, or breaching security or authentication measures. Good-faith reporting within the boundaries below is distinct from these prohibited activities.
Unlawful use: Using MYSHOWBIZ for any purpose that violates applicable law or regulation
Harmful content: Uploading or transmitting malicious code, viruses, or content that infringes third-party rights

We welcome good-faith, bounded vulnerability reports through the security reporting instructions, which direct reports to hello@myshowbiz.com. Use only the minimum information needed to explain the issue. Do not access, alter, retain, or disclose another person's data, disrupt service, use social engineering, send spam, or perform destructive testing. Stop testing and report the issue if you encounter private data. Reporting a vulnerability does not authorize otherwise unauthorized or harmful testing.

We target acknowledgement of vulnerability reports within two business days. This is not a guaranteed fix or fix deadline, and we do not offer a bug bounty or promise payment for reports.

7. AI Features

MYSHOWBIZ includes AI-powered features that summarize contracts, suggest follow-ups, and provide career insights. These features are for organizational and informational purposes only. AI-generated summaries and suggestions may contain errors. Do not rely on them as legal, financial, or professional advice. Always review contracts and agreements independently before signing.

AI features are subject to fair use limits to ensure quality and availability for all users. Limits are displayed in-app and may be adjusted based on your subscription tier.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

MYSHOWBIZ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete. Use of AI features is at your own discretion and risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MYSHOWBIZ and its founders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you by email before material changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Account Closure, Termination, and Deletion

You may close your account at any time. Subscription cancellation stops renewal as described in Section 3; it is distinct from account closure or a request to delete your data. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. Violations of Section 5 (Intellectual Property) or Section 6 (Acceptable Use) may result in immediate termination without refund. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days.

To request account deletion, contact hello@myshowbiz.com. We will complete your account-deletion request within 30 calendar days of receiving it. This completion deadline runs from the deletion request, not subscription cancellation or account closure, and is separate from the 30-day window to request an export after termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights.
