MYSHOWBIZ APP

Cookie Policy

Effective: October 19, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how MYSHOWBIZ.ai ("MYSHOWBIZ," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar browser storage on this website and in the MYSHOWBIZ app. It sits with our Privacy Policy.

1. Cookies and storage we use

  • Essential browser storage. MYSHOWBIZ sets no cookies of its own. The app uses your browser's local storage, session storage, and IndexedDB to keep you signed in, protect your account, and remember your session, drafts, onboarding progress, checkout return state, and preferences on your device, including changes saved while you were offline until they reach our servers. The app's service worker caches app files so it loads quickly and can show offline status. Signing out ends your session; clearing site data for myshowbiz.com removes all of this storage.
  • Analytics choice. We store whether you accepted or declined marketing-site analytics in browser storage on this device. We do not use that choice itself to identify you.
  • Marketing-site analytics. If you accept, Google Analytics measures visits and interactions, and Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used, including session recordings of clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, and page navigation. Clarity masks text you type into form fields. These services may process your IP address, device and browser details, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location, and interaction data. They run only on the public marketing site, not in the signed-in MYSHOWBIZ app. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party advertising trackers, and we do not turn on Google Analytics advertising features.
  • Bot protection. Cloudflare Turnstile runs on sign-up and public forms to tell people from automated traffic and may use browser signals for that purpose.
  • Pages run by our providers. Payment checkout (Stripe), Google sign-in, and connecting Gmail or Google Calendar open pages on those providers' own sites, which set their own cookies under their own policies.

Analytics cookies, set only after you accept

  • Google Analytics (Google LLC): _ga distinguishes visitors and _ga_<ID> keeps the state of a visit. Both last up to 2 years. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
  • Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation): _clck keeps a random Clarity visitor ID and lasts up to 1 year; _clsk joins the pages of one visit into a single recording and lasts about 1 day. Microsoft may also set CLID, MUID, ANONCHK, MR, and SM on Clarity and Microsoft domains, generally for up to 1 year, to recognize the browser and keep its identifier in sync. Clarity does not use these for advertising on this site. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement and Clarity's data practices.

Google and Microsoft may process this data in the United States and other countries where they operate.

Shared press-article links may show the artist how many visits came from which referring site or app and from which country and approximate city. We use your IP address only during the request to work out approximate location and do not store it for this reporting. That separate reporting sets no cookies, keeps no visitor record, and shows only totals, with small groups shown as "Other".

2. How long they last

Your signed-in session lasts until you sign out. Drafts, preferences, and cached app files stay on your device until you clear site data for myshowbiz.com. Your analytics choice stays on this device until you clear site data for myshowbiz.com. The analytics cookies last as listed above; Google and Microsoft may change their cookie names and retention, which they publish in their own documentation.

3. Your choices

Analytics is off unless you select "Accept analytics." You can select "Decline analytics" without losing access to the site. To withdraw a prior choice, clear cookies and site data for myshowbiz.com, reload the site, and select "Decline analytics." Clearing site data also removes the analytics-choice record and provider cookies stored for this site. Browser controls can block or delete cookies independently, although blocking site storage can stop sign-in and saved preferences from working.

4. Changes and contact

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the current version. Questions about cookies? Contact hello@myshowbiz.com.

With your permission, we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity on this marketing site to understand visits and improve the site. The MYSHOWBIZ app does not use them.
